Featured Mandate  ·  Ratings Recovery

A rating floor lifted —
and held.

A large consumer finance application, operating with a review ecosystem exceeding 100,000 ratings, where the aggregate store rating had settled below the threshold at which it materially affects install decisions. At that scale, a fractional shift in rating is not cosmetic — it moves conversion at the point of decision and shapes acquisition economics downstream.

3.8 — baseline 4.0 — trust threshold 4.2 — reached at ~2 months, then held

Trajectory shown is illustrative of the recovery shape; the labelled values are actual.

The approach

The work began with a review-signal audit: isolating the recurring complaint patterns driving negative ratings, separating genuine product friction from noise, and mapping where sentiment was concentrated. From there, the response architecture and feedback loop were rebuilt so that resolved issues translated into recovered ratings rather than silence. A quality-led approach — the underlying review dynamic addressed at the source, with the resources and execution depth that large review bases require.

Why it held

Recovery is the easier half. On a base exceeding 100,000 reviews, a two-month gain can erode just as quickly without a system behind it. The rating was stabilised at its new level and maintained — monitoring, response discipline, and ongoing management kept the floor in place rather than allowing it to drift back. The result was durable, not a spike.

Digital Reputation & Ratings Management

Ratings are a growth lever. Treated accordingly.

Consumer app ratings and cross-platform review exposure are directly measurable against conversion, install volume, and retention. These mandates address the gap between where a product's perception sits and where it needs to be — with execution across the full platform ecosystem.

App ratings recovery for consumer mobile products

Mandates across 70+ apps over time, recovering Play Store ratings from 3.6–3.8 baselines — including large-scale consumer apps with review ecosystems exceeding 100,000 ratings. Structured approach covering review signal audit, feedback loop repair, response architecture, and a systematic programme to shift aggregate rating into the 4.2–4.5 range — quality-led, and built to hold. These are not surface interventions. The underlying review dynamic is addressed at the product and operations level.

Cross-platform reputation management

Reputation architecture spanning Google Play, Google Business Profile, Trustpilot, and Glassdoor — each platform requiring a distinct strategic approach. Mandates typically include baseline audit, monitoring infrastructure, response framework design, and ongoing management. For businesses where public perception across multiple surfaces creates compounded commercial risk, single-channel fixes are insufficient.

Reputation stabilisation preceding funding or acquisition

Structured perception repair for founders approaching fundraising or M&A processes where digital footprint — app store ratings, review platform presence, search results — forms part of due diligence. Mandate scope: audit, gap identification, and a time-bound programme to stabilise or improve the most commercially significant signals before the process begins.

User Acquisition & Performance

Acquisition that holds at scale.

Paid acquisition mandates across consumer mobile products at volume — CPI, CPR, and CPA — where the objective is not install count but downstream economics. These engagements are grounded in campaign execution experience, not theory.

CPI / CPR / CPA campaign execution for mobile growth

High-volume paid acquisition execution across consumer mobile products — structured around action-based performance models rather than install-volume optimisation. Mandate scope typically includes campaign architecture, targeting logic, creative direction, and transition to retention-weighted bidding. Delivered across funded and growth-stage businesses where acquisition economics are a board-level concern.

Acquisition restructuring and spend efficiency

For mobile businesses spending at meaningful scale but operating with poor downstream retention economics. Mandate: audit the acquisition stack, identify where cost-per-quality-user has diverged from cost-per-install, restructure campaign logic accordingly. The goal is improving LTV-to-CAC without simply cutting spend.

Search visibility growth for funded digital businesses

Organic search mandates for growth-stage and funded businesses where search authority translates directly into qualified pipeline. Full audit and strategic rebuild — technical foundations, content architecture, authority signals. Delivered for businesses operating in competitive categories where meaningful visibility requires more than tactical content production.

Operational Diagnostics & Strategic Intelligence

Better intelligence. Better decisions.

For operators and founders navigating high-stakes decisions — market entry, acquisition channel allocation, competitive positioning — where the quality of underlying intelligence determines the quality of the outcome. These mandates are diagnostic in nature: structured, specific, and built around the actual decision being made, not a research deliverable.

Market entry and opportunity assessment

Structured intelligence briefs covering landscape analysis, competitive dynamics, opportunity sizing, and risk sequencing — designed to inform capital and resource allocation before commitment. Relevant for funded businesses evaluating new geographies, verticals, or acquisition channels where the cost of a poor decision is material.

Representative mandate type  ·  Project format

Competitive landscape mapping and positioning intelligence

Deep research across competitor positioning, pricing behaviour, product evolution, review ecosystem signals, and directional market movement. Used by founders to inform product strategy, pricing decisions, and channel positioning. Active strategic input delivered as usable intelligence — not background reading.

Execution audit and growth readiness review

Diagnostic review of where execution breaks down across reputation, acquisition, and visibility: where accountability is diffuse, channel logic is misaligned, or vendor relationships introduce risk. Includes structured recommendations and, where required, direct oversight during periods of accelerated growth or operational transition.

Operational Evidence

Representative Snapshots

Selected anonymized operational environments across storefront reputation, acquisition efficiency, and visibility recovery.

Storefront Reputation Recovery

Mobile product environment operating at scale with sustained review volatility and declining storefront trust signals.

39K+ review environment stabilized above 4.1 baseline through operational review analysis and compliant acquisition support.

Large-Scale Storefront Stabilization

High-volume consumer application requiring long-term storefront consistency across changing acquisition conditions.

1L+ review ecosystem maintained within stable operational thresholds through ongoing sentiment diagnostics and acquisition balancing.

Portfolio-Scale Ratings Maintenance

A portfolio of consumer utility apps — document and office-file viewers, mail clients, and productivity tools — requiring simultaneous rating stability across the full set, month over month.

Aggregate ratings held above the 4.0 trust threshold across the portfolio through continuous review monitoring and quality-led acquisition support.

Sustained Floor Defence

A high-install consumer app where an active acquisition push risked pulling lower-intent reviews and eroding a hard-won rating.

Rating held above 4.0 across a multi-month engagement, with review quality kept ahead of acquisition volume.

All environments anonymized by default. Additional operational context available under NDA.

How engagements begin

A private diagnostic. Not a sales process.

Every engagement begins with a focused conversation to understand the context, the objective, and whether there is genuine fit. No generic proposal. No commitment required. If aligned, the engagement is structured around the specific mandate, not a pre-packaged service.

Strategic direction is founder-led. Execution is handled directly or through curated specialists under founder oversight throughout.
